Dr. Albert received his medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Illinois (Chicago) and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center where he served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Albert is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and echocardiography. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American College of Physicians, the American Heart Association Council on Clinical Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography
He has served as Chief of Cardiology at Northwest Community Hospital. He is currently the Director of Echocardiography at Northwest Community Hospital. Dr. Albert has been practicing since 1989 and has been listed in the Castle Connolly Guide – Top Doctors: Chicago Metro Area since the first edition in 1999. Dr. Albert is on staff at Northwest Community Hospital and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
